Thanksgiving Thursday: Week 5

Once again, and hard to believe, it is Thanksgiving Thursday. We've been in operation for a month and 6 days, and we have so many reasons to be grateful.

Celebrating Our Successes

We have reached over 350 viewers of this blog. For a brand new blog with no established following, we are getting the views. We are being seen. We are being read. We are being heard.

It's a huge thing to step out into a public arena with a whole lot of people who are competing for the same viewers you are and grab their attention, so we are going to celebrate that success with our whole hearts. It took us 16 days to reach our first 100 viewers, and we've reached 70 in the last three days.

Celebrating Our Supporters

This week, our love goes out to Ms Tonya Todd, The 52 Love Podcast Hostess with the Mostest Love, who took us onto her show and let us share with her viewers a bit of what we've received. If you haven't taken the time to check out her podcast yet, we invite you to do so today. Naturally, we think you should start with our episode, but she's got plenty to choose from so follow your heart.

We also want to thank Joylynn Ross at Path to Publishing for graciously allowing us to share our creative strategies for Montezing Marketing so that we could have an awesome Friday Freebie to offer everyone: our upcoming Webinar!

Celebrating Our Progress

This week was a breakthrough week for us. In just two days, Monday and Tuesday, we got more viewers on our blog than we had in the week before it. I think we can definitely say that if we hadn't done the work to defeat discouragement, we wouldn't have experienced this celebration.

Being creative with our marketing as we did on Monday opened the door for creative lessons in Time Management that we could offer on Tuesday and because we were so inspired on Monday, we were able to work ahead so that Wednesday's post on Creative Wealth Building got out on time without a hitch.

On a more personal note, I have been training myself to code for the last year and a half. I've also been working on a Card Game Developer system that will allow people to create their own trading card decks based on a simple card game I created years ago so they can make more out of their books and other intellectual properties with less effort.

However, I'd been struggling to untangle a particular piece of code and understand how it worked so I could implement that feature in my game. This week, I had that breakthrough that allowed me to make progress!

With Much Gratitude

It's definitely been eye-opening to me how much gratitude impacts my attitude and changes the nature of my work, my relationships, and my life. Because of this week's reflections I've been inspired to post on my Everyday Catholic blog for the first time in over 4 years!

Yes, I once upon a time had an Everyday Catholic blog but I let discouragement defeat me at that time and I'd stopped posting to it because I didn't think what I was saying reached anyone. Imagine my surprise to find that over 15,000 eyeballs had viewed that blog while I was away from it.

We don't know the impact we are having with the work that we are doing. We only know that we must do our part and keep going. I honestly don't know how much of an impact I'm having with Project FED. We only know that the work needs to be done and we're doing it with Gratitude for the Gift!

What Are You Thankful For Today?

Tell us what your successes are and let us celebrate them with you. Tell us who your supporters were and leave a link to them in your comment so we can give them a shout out for being the awesome people they are. Tell us about the progress you've made in life no matter how small you may think it is and we'll be cheering you on.
